Upper Taumata Rd...was U/S'ed but looks OK at present. Land towards the small buildings on either vector but my advice is not to use the one that starts in the trees...I haven't landed on this strip although rumours abound that one glider pilot did and had to pay for a dead sheep...
Taumata Rd. Owned by a grumpy farmer (me) but otherwise excellent. I've landed here twice...possible aerotow but would need a steady sea breeze or northerly. Land uphill towards the trees...don't land in the other direction or else I'll be picking bits of glider out of the fence for years to come...
Burd Rd. Another good spot although often covered in stock. I've landed here...can aero-retrieve. Land towards the buildings.
